The Poker game has been found as far back as the Sung Dynasty of China. A Persian version, “As Nas” was also played, using 25 cards. Over time, there had been a lot of alterations on the poker game, but the first written record of playing the game of poker was found being played in the Mississippi Rivers.

The game of poker was discovered by a guy named Jonathan Green who has come up with this “cheating game”, as he calls it. At that time, a different card game, the Three-Card Monte was thought to be the pioneer in poker but people claim that the “cheating game” was more alike poker by playing with 5 cards instead of just three. The game only involved the use of 5 playing cards dealt for each player – aces, kings, queens, jacks and tens.
